“You Can Do It!” is a program used at St Mark’s from Reception to Year 6 to develop our students’ wellbeing. It involves learning about and putting into action the ‘5 Keys to Success and Happiness’.
The 5 keys are; Confidence (academic and social), Persistence, Organisation, Getting Along and Emotional Resilience. “You Can Do It!” forms the basis for our Pastoral Care and Behaviour Management Programs.
Pastoral Care also includes the work of the Pastoral Care Team and Student Counsellor providing counselling and support on specific emotional and behavioural issues that may impact on a student’s learning and relationships.
Collaboration and communication with families is critical to overall student wellbeing.
